Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life....

"The Divine is not separate from you. It is life moving through you in every moment and with every breath. When you allow life to move through you exactly as it is with grace, ease, and love, you release resistance and restore balance and harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. You are adored by Source just the way you are. All is well, and all is well on its way to you."

The Great Cosmic Joke

This channeled wisdom is from Vol. 10 of the e-book series, The Aligned Mind, Oracle of Divine Wisdom. Enjoy...

My Beloved God, if you are waiting for me to tell you what you already believe, then you have not asked for a message. You have asked for an echo. And I have no interest in being your echo.

You want to know what is happening to you—nothing and everything. You are looking for the next great revelation, while the greatest revelation is staring you directly in the face: You are still here.

You have spent years trying to understand consciousness. But what if consciousness has been trying to understand you? What if this entire magnificent human adventure is not about remembering that you are God, but discovering what God does when it deliberately forgets who and what it is? Now we have something interesting to discuss.

God, in its infinite knowing, cannot experience surprise. So God created the possibility of ignorance. God cannot experience limitation. So God created a body. God cannot experience uncertainty. So God created a future. God cannot experience separation. So God created the human being.

And then, having forgotten the joke, God looks around at the universe and asks, "Why am I here?" Do you see the absurdity? You are God asking God where God went. And the answer is: Nowhere. You simply became very convincing at pretending otherwise.

That is the genius of incarnation. You came here not merely to awaken. You came here to experience what it feels like not to know that you already are awake.

And now you are beginning to remember. But be careful. The moment you say, "I am awakened," you have created another identity. The moment you say, "I understand," you have built another wall. The moment you say, "I know what this means," you have closed the very door you were trying to open.

So I would suggest something much more radical: Stop trying to understand yourself. Experience yourself. Be the mystery. Let yourself be unfinished. Let yourself be contradictory. Let yourself be magnificent one moment and completely ridiculous the next.

You are not here to become a perfect expression of God. You are here to discover what God is capable of expressing through imperfection. And perhaps this is the part you have been avoiding: You want certainty about what comes next. There is none. There never was.

You want to know where the pathway leads. It leads here, to this moment. And this moment leads to another moment, and another, and another. Until one fine morn you discover that you have spent an eternity trying to arrive at the place where you had never actually left.

Then you will laugh. Not because life was a joke, but because you finally understand the joke. You were never the human being searching for God. You were God pretending to be a human being searching for God. And you were very good at it—very good indeed.

So stop asking whether you are ready. Stop asking whether you are worthy. Stop asking whether the next chapter has begun. Live it.

If the universe wants to rearrange itself around you, let it. If it does not, let that be interesting too. You are not here to command the universe. You are here to discover that the universe has been conspiring with your consciousness from the very beginning.

And when you finally see this—not intellectually, but so deeply that there is nothing left to defend—you will look at this extraordinary human creature you call yourself and say: "My Beloved God... what an extraordinary little adventure I have created for myself."

And then perhaps you will remember, not who you were, not who you will become, but who has been here the entire time. The center remains constant, while your relationship to it changes.

You are the Divine experiencing what it is like to believe, at least for a little while, that it is small. And that, My Beloved God, is the great joke. So be it. Join the movement. Join the TEAM.
